Through Road: There is an option to reach Manali by road. Many Volvo buses are being running from Delhi and Chandigarh every day. Buses are available from RK Ashram Marg and ISBT Kashmiri gate. In Chandigarh, you can take the bus from sector 43 for Manali.

Please you do not carry any valuables with you while trekking. Ensure you leave no valuables (laptops, cash, electronics, jewellery) in this luggage. To leaving this luggage at the base camp there are no extra charges.

Is there any electricity on the Hampta Pass trek?

There is no electricity throughout the trek. You’ll find a plug to charge your phone or camera batteries will be Manali base camp before and after the trek. Try to use your electronic equipment wisely. Therefor use your phone or camera wisely. Make your batteries fully charge before leaving your base camp. Carry extra batteries or a power banks with you, this is must. Important point to note the cold temperatures drain the batteries faster(take care of that). While sleeping, we advice our trekkers to switch off there electronic equipments/ batteries and keep them in their sleeping bags (so the batteries will not drain unnecessary).

With lesser oxygen at heights, your heart needs to work almost double to keep you going. You can do running, cycling, swimming, dancing, etc before your trek for atleast a month. Or can do speed walking of atleast 5km in 40 minutes everyday.

What should I carry for Trekking?

The things you carry for trekking should be as less as possible.

Back pack(50- 60 ltr), rain cover, Day pack, Walking stick, Head torch, Water bottle/Hydration pack, Snacks, Personal Medical Kit (as per your doctor), Sun cap, Neck cap, Balaclava, Neck- gaiters, Sunglasses, Trek pants, T-shirts, Fleece T-shirt, Fleece jacket, wind & waterprood jacket and pant, padded jacket, Raincoat or Poncho, Trekking shoes, Floaters/flip-flops (Optional), Cotton socks, woollen socks, sunscreen cream, Moisturiser, Lip balm, Toilet paper & wipes, Synthetic gloves.

DAY : 1 - Manali Campsite to Chika (Drive : 16 km, Trek: 2 km, Duration: 3 hrs, Altitude: 10,100 ft)
Once you Arrived Manali base camp at 9 a.m, a energetic briefing section will be held between trekkers and trek guides. After the briefing session we will drive from Manali Basecamp to Jobra village, where the trek starts. From Jobra the hike starts to Juara. Dinner and stay overnight.
 
DAY 2 - Chika to Bhalu ka Ghera (Trek: 5.8 km, Duration: 5 hrs, Altitude: 12,100 ft)
After having breakfast, we'll begin our hike from Jobra to Bhalu Ka Ghera (named because the territory of Bears) since it's the hibernating place for Bears in winters. The trek will again be filled with challenges as and picturesque scenes as we cross different rivers streams experiences the blossoms of nature. Thus, it'll be knowing leave the climax scene to the trekkers only.
 
DAY 3 - Balu ka Ghera Hampta Pass and further to Shia Ghoru (Trek: 7 km, Duration: 8 hrs, Altitude: 14,100 ft)
On day 3rd of the Hampta Pass Trek with Chandratal, we might aim at leaving the campsite by 7 AM because the trek ahead is long and somewhat tedious. It will be very adventures day and we can see the variety of flowers in the whole trails. We'll go from Balu ka Ghera to Shia Ghoru, which is at 12,900 feet. It'll take approximately 4-5 hours to succeed in Hampta Pass top (14,000 feet), and from there another few hours to descend to Shia Ghoru.  There will be steep descend to reach Shia Ghoru camp site where will enjoy beautiful sunset from Hanuman Tibba Peak.
 
DAY 4 - Siaguru to Chatru drive to Chandratal (Drive : 49 km, Trek: 6 km, Duration: 8-9 hrs, Altitude: 12,300 ft)
Today we are heading towards Chaturu and often it is the place that will offer us the most breathtaking and unforgettable views of the valleys of Lahaul and Spiti. The Spiti and Pir Panjal ranges will add to the splendor and magic of this place. Chataru is the focal point of 3 places, namely Hampta Pass, Rohtang Pass and Spiti Valley. This stretch of the trek will be followed by a jeep ride to Chandratal, which is believed to be the place from where Yudhishthira, the eldest Pandava, went to heaven. If the weather is favourable, you will be camping in Chaturu. The trail will be slippery on this day. Snowfall can be seen in the beginning of summer. After summer only patches of snow will be available.
 
DAY 5: Jeep Ride from Chatru to Base Camp (Drive : 83 km,  Duration: 4.5 hrs, Altitude: 6,730 ft)
Last day of this adventurous trip would begin early as we'll be covering tons today. We'll aim at leaving Chatru by 7 AM after having breakfast. Our first stop would be Manali, which we'll reach by lunchtime, after crossing the Atal Tunnel. Although we are keeping Manali arrival time at around 5 p.m. on a safer side.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions, natural disasters or government restrictions, certain activities/whole trek may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
  • No refund will be processed in case of trek cancelled by trekker due to personal/medical emergency
  • If package includes any product offering (e.g. Jacket or Bag), that will not be returned and price of the product will not be refunded. For example, if booking amount collected Rs. 2000 and the package includes jacket offer worth Rs.1500 then in case of cancellation, Jacket will not be returned and only Rs.500 (2000-1500) will be refunded subject to fulfill of other cancellation policy conditions.

  • Any refund applicable will be processed within 14 business days.

Confirmation Policy

  • Upon booking, the trekker will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 48 hours (on working days).
  • In the exceptional cases of slots not being available, viable alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new trek details.
  • Alternatively, the trekker may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.
