It is worth noting that there can be heavy snowfall anytime between October and December, so make sure you pack your clothes accordingly.

Ali Bedni is a great trek for women. The trail is not too hard and there are no steep inclines. You may be hiking for 12 hours, but you will have lots of time to rest and enjoy the beautiful views. There are also no villages on the way so there isn't any chance that you'll be bothered by locals. At times, due to the high altitude, we do find snow patches even when there's not much snow elsewhere. Trekking poles come in handy during these sections. It takes about 4-5 days of trekking to reach Ali Bedni Bugyal from Delhi and 15-16 days from Mumbai. Ali Bedni Bugyal can be done as an overnight or two day trip depending on how fast you walk.

Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek can be done solo, but make sure you're prepared for any situation. The trekking route has few villages where you can find tea and snacks. Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek is a moderate trek as there are no technical challenges like steep ascents and descents or high altitudes. However, the trail passes through remote villages with limited healthcare facilities and basic amenities. There are no major cities close by, so you will need to carry your own food and water. To reach Ali Bedni Bugyal from Delhi, you can take flights to Dehradun and then catch a taxi for an overnight journey of 200 kilometers. From Manali, the distance is about 30 km on foot.
